Meditators from around the country came together on Dec. 16 in St Michael's Church, Dun Laoghaire for a mass for Yvonne. Fr Laurence Freeman OSB leader of the World Community for Christian Meditation was the main celebrant. He was joined by Fr Louis Hughes, and Mons. Tom Fehily. It was a special opportunity to give thanks for the life & work of Yvonne, especially the work of meditation, which was the passion of her life.
Later there was the opportunity to meet friends, old and new and to enjoy a light lunch.
A special word of thanks to the Meditation Centre in Dun Laoghaire for our very warm welcome.
Prayer is loving attentiveness to the mystery within us.
